Is that using the VNES emulator....
:D Actually a program that converts NES roms into N64 roms. I found it because I wanted to see how emulators would work on monkey.
Oh..where'd you find that.
Sniper, it is vnes. Look at the description http://www.zophar.net/consoles/n64.html
He is using neon64 nes emu for n64. VNes emu works but I am unsure if neon works.
 Where you get that????????Quote:

Yea link please, I want to see an NES to N64 converter.
You know what would be awesoem, to be able to convert GBA games to SNES, itll never happen though.. its fun to dream at least
Actually it's Neon64 that I was using. I lost the link though.Quote:

Zophar was until now the BEST source for emulation, but now it looks dead, no more updates, no more good news... What happened to Zophar?
Guys, It's not a converter. Its just a Nes emulator for N64. Since N64 does not have a filesystem, the roms must be merged with the emulator into a single n64 rom file.
Methinks I just had an idea. Why not just run Monkey through that program that turns homebrew into an ISO? You boot it up, and the PSP registers as running the program from the UMD, therefore bypassing the memory limitations because it won't have to store the whole thing on system RAM.
Ok no, it doesnt work :(
oh.. i remember back in the day. zophar was king.... when i first got into emulation i dreamt of being a zophar.net mod... heh, times sure do change! shit... that was like.. 6 or 7 years ago.
Huge misconception there. All PSP apps (including ones on umds) are copied into main memory and ran from there.Quote:

Rom needs to be in memory.
So Emulater in Iso form is worthless and even more complicated since you'll need to throw roms into the iso.
How well does VNES and Neon 64 run on Monkey 64 1.0??????????
there ya goQuote:

Mario kart, Goldeneye, Super Smash Bros
PAPER MARIO!!!!!!!!!!!!Zelda: Ocarina of time, Zelda: Majora's Mask, Super Mario 64, Super Smash Bros., Turok: Dinosaur Hunter

There are a lot of great games like Rampage that was pretty good r there any others...
Yoshi's Story, Hydro Thunder, 007 The World is not Enough, Conker's Bad Fur Day, Win-Back Covert Operations, Harvest Moon 64, and Donkey Kong 64 are some really fun games:D
cool what about Perfect Dark and Bomberman
Perfect Dark any good? Everyone says it is, but I have never played it. And is it small enough for Monkey 64 to run it (16mb or smaller)?
well monkey 64 should be able to run Zelda at a playable speed from what monkey says and Zelda is a huge file knowing that it will probaly play many larger games and honestly i have never played Perfect Dark but i heard it was as good as goldeneye with great sound as far as that is concerned it sounds like a good game worth trying.
See now smash bros is 16 Mb wonder why thats going to be hard to play on an emu? but it could be megabit or megabite i don't know but hope it works
