except for the Mario and Luigi mess ups. Ohh i cant wait for a version to be compatible with mario and luigi. That would be so choice.

This is awesome. every game ive tried works perfect!!! :D
Great job Exophase!
Just want to 'up' this thread since its drowning compared to the old '0.6' version.. :D
Your technically spamming... but I know what you mean. The same thing happens all the time on here, people keep reviving really old (and dead) threads (eg: all on NJ’s emulators, mame, plus the N64 emu etc).Quote:

My fault then.
Updates always means improvement and if this newest version was drowning while the old version was up then many people would get confused. This site doesn't close old threads of old versions. I can still found many people checked old releases.
The front page menu bar makes it pretty easy for newcomers, gpSP's link still points to 0.6 so its still getting the hits, once wraggster gets that updated all shal be well.Quote:

In Zelda Minish Cap, the emulator crashes every time I try to fight the final boss in the Temple of Droplets.
If an error code is needed, I can get it.
I'm using the 1.5 Alternate version, btw.
Man already at the end
Lets start Making a compatibility list for gpsP.07
That would be nice.
Can you just update the 0.6 compatibility list ? And don't forget to point which games worked on original or alternative 0.7 or both..
has anyone started to make that compatibility list yet? if yes could someone give me the link? too bad that the gpsp-link still leads to the 0.6 version. is it so much work to update the link? ( this question isnt meant to be mean in any way. i really dont know how much work this means. oh dear! i hope that wraggster isnt angry at me now. :( )
i wish u all happy days with ur new old gba :D
I would just opt for trying the games that you like, cause i'd say the majority of the games that I've played do work great this emu. :)
I wonder when, or if Exophase is going to add 32 mega bite rom support. That would be a great feature, even if it was experimental to see if we could load things like game boy advanced videos. Or other games that were higher than 16 mega bites, such as Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories.
hopefully since the nj's cache conveter has been open sourced.
this emu combined with gbc and gb compatability. that would be great!
where do i get the gba_bios.bin from
in my pants.
Actually that would be a bad idea because, that would use more of the PSP's memory. The reason for this is because the game boy advanced allowing it to play game boy/color games, used a whole different piece of hardware inside the system. Basically if you want game boy/color compatability in the game boy advanced emulator, you have to emulate that seperate hardware also. Which is not only a pain in the balls. Its memory consuming for the small 32 mega bites of ram the PSP has. So its best if a feature like that was not inserted. And just stick with RIN for game boy/color since that runs full speed anyway =SQuote:

Great Emu, but it doesn't seem to work with the new eloader 0.98 and 2.6 firmware, after you select it in the eloader menu, it just stops and then after about 20 seconds closes the psp down.
shame, but im not complaining, both this emu and the boot loader are amazing tools and both have my respect!! :)
hey mine is doing the same...im the water temple when i fight the red thingy that throws rocks the dreaded blue screen pops up...i tried to boot it up in visualboy advanced and guess what....my save file was completly deleted...all that work for nothing...i dont want to start over...if any kind soul out there has a save file near here and would be so kind as to sending it to my email [email protected] would be awesome :)Quote:

Now THAT is a good enough point. :DQuote:

the site won't let me download the emu. when i click on the link it just goes to a blank page.
Download from somewhere else then...
Well I just remember someone telling me, that implementing gb/color would be memory consuming to the PSP. And it would not be worth running along side with GBA, as GBA is very memory consuming, and its important the gba is using everything the PSP has to run.Quote:

And ya Tinnus, sorry about the bites = bytes thing =P
That's the point--it wouldn't be running ALONGSIDE. GBC doesn't need any of the GBA hardware to be running at the same time. Of course the program would be bigger, but most of the memory used by the GBA emulator is probably allocated at run-time--and thus wouldn't be allocated when running GBC (and vice versa).Quote:

Meh! I don't have access to an older copy of GTA. It looks like I'll have to wait until a version becomes compatible, purposeful or not.
Have u guys knowtes that most of the new gba games r now 33mb. Eh
EDIT#1. Does any emulator run 33mb gba games?
I noticed that, but that problem only occurs should you try to start the emu though the photo. I use GTA (still) on 2.6, load it, and everything works fine. Minnish Cap and Pokemon are testament to this.Quote:

Not requesting!
Does anybody have some information, on perhaps the next release. Don't have time for reading 24 pages, so I figured maybe someone over heard some news :D But anyway great work on this emulator =D
Pkmaximum, they new versions get posted on Qj.net's forums by Exophase himself, so check for the newest updates. (check the actual forums first, since the front page takes about 2-3 hours for the actual article to pop up)
Ya, I figured that, as that is were I got the last release, about 2 hours before it hit any front page on any psp emulation host. Well I guess I'll just go check there again =P
Thx for your help =]
hi, this emu rockzz!! works on most games perfectly. i have a question. is it normal that you have a blanc space in the game menu on fw 1.5?? or did i install it wrong
thx minas
you mean a CORRUPT data? yea its normal and u didn't do anything wrong. u can get rid of the corrup icons if u want too.
the emu works great... thanks!
