What I did after downgrading from 3.03 to 1.50, I used PSPset 0.9 to fake the firmware version and display 1.00. Then, I ran the official 1.50 update to perform a clean install of that. Afterwards, I went up to custom firmware 3.03 OE-C. It work out all good.

ok, I Downloaded the downgrader it comes with MS_Root I got confused because i had a MS_Root when i got a reallly old downgrader back in the day when i was a noob.
What, you deleted the MS_ROOT folder in the downgrader package? If that's the case, fish it out of the recycle bin or if it's not there, just download it again.
just download it again, and retry

Download is corrupt when i try downloading the downgrader.
Also is there anyway to do this with out that GTA game?
Edit: was corrupt with IE, downloaded fine with opera.
Try snatching it from another place, DeathStar, and see if that helps.
And no, there is no way to downgrade nor use HEN without the original GTA: LCS game. Not currently, anyway ...

Hello I'm a regular homebrew user so no noob here but my brother updated his psp and that's the one i use for homebrew and was gonna downgrade it. Only thing is i lended my 2gb mem. stick to my friend for a bit so does this work with the normal 32mb stick?

UPDATE.PBP and copy it to <pspdrive>:/PSP/GAME/UPDATE/ . DO NOT
OVERWRITE PSP/GAME/UPDATE/EBOOT.PBP!

YES it worked!!!! Me and my friend had both 2.81. We downgraded together. My hands were shaking i was so scared... After he put in gpsp and he played and he got a blue screen saying ''We regret to inform you but your psp has crashed!'' He restarted and it worked fine.
The bottom line is they can't keep up with the likes of DA & Booster.....and we are ALL forever in their debt. I can't believe there is a downgrader for 3.03 already.
I wish I went on my computer yesterday to find out about this. Oh well, cheers to Fanjita and Ditlew and everybody with firmware 3.03!

if you downgrade to 1.5 then upgrade to 3.03 oe-c then you wouldnt need the clean up program =P
