Is there any bricking risk(writing to flash) when installing the Tiff version and the installotron?

If your on 2.8 i think there is no chance of bricking becuase you don't write to flash on 2.8

i went to use xloader and it crashed on me i took the bat out put it back in and turnd the power back on and a blue screen came on saying a problm has encurd bla bla bla and it restord sistem settings i craped my self and thought it bricked

ps-dose anyone know a working gbc emu for xloader 2.80

you can run luaplayer on it. i just tested it out. also you can run doom on it.
