I like it because since the raise of the DSi the technology of the GBA was obsolete and there were many good games to keep enjoying; until there is the official launch of GBA games for the eShop there is no other option to play them officially.
This also came handy with the discontinuation of the GBA flashcarts since it can hold the (not know if all) homebrews.

I like this because it allows older cameras and such to use SD cards, which are easier to copy data from as most laptops have an SD card reader but not a CF slot.
