Monkey said why Super Smash Bros., Mario 64, and many other don't work.................. was it Op codes?????? or something like that??????????
hmm you guys arent spamming one bit
its because it uses sram (smash bros) thats why he(sniper) said it may not work but...
"So speaking of sram games. I gave smash bros a quick test. It sadly does not work yet its not that bad. The game does not work yes since I do not emulate the required microcode (F3DEX2). So when added it should show up something. I would implement F3DEX2 now but its much more complex then F3DEX (starfox/mario kart) or Fast3D (super mario). " -psmonkey
just for any confusion
ps
and coincedently enough my favoriite game is super smash bros to answer your question

Hey as long as we are on the subject and supporting PSMonkey lol or around the subject well whats your favorite N64 game ?lol
Ya, this is getting kinda off topic. Would it be better to post a new topic on what is your fav N64 game? or has someone already done that?
Definately Mario 64, or even by the looks of it, quest 64 :). Im happy with what ever works first.
Although many of the games are not working we cant really say what will work properly first. Rampage is looking good but its graphically disabled
I'm happy with what ever works first too:D But, I would love to see Paper Mario running, even if it ran at 1fps!
ya i bet u monkey has for the most part got this figured out he is a talanted proffessional hey wally what r the games working so far? u r a tester right?
Man wish i could be a tester...i would have no problem testing any game anytime but i suspose u have enough testers well thanks for the updates
Me to. Yes he likely has enough testers.
if you can get starfox running, even at semi playable speed, i will get on my knees and bow down to you....more then i already do.
He has it running but HLE isn't done yet.

But it looks great
World is not Enough is more than 16MB, besides, I'd rather see Goldeneye, one of my favorite games of all time, bought 2 N64's just for that game.
not to mention world is not enough sucks.Quote:

I was not quite sure if u were saying that emulation for N64 to play on the PSP will be hard or u think not to expect much trust me the perfect guy for the job is on it and psmonkey can even tell u himself how very possibe it is because the psp is very close to the n64 hardware wise. its kinda funny how right he is considering the fact that nearly all consols r emulated with the eception of AES PS1 and there might be some others. And the N64 is actuly coming aloung much faster than the GBA witch i think nearly everyone abandon.Quote:

ignore me if im talking rubbish... again
i was reading about the ability to run windows using parallel's workstation2.1 on intel macs using virtualisation software, because the hardware is quite similar. virtualisation is much faster than emulation.
so could the same method be used to run the N64 on the psp, i remember it being said that both the n64 and psp have similar processors or something. is it possible? what is the difference between virtualisation and emulation? if the hardware is too different but shares features could virtualisation and emulation be combined to make it better?
Hey, does anyone know what happened to Chaosknight, the creator of basilisk ||?
Wow. That came out of waaayyy left field. No indicators or anything at all.
