Yeah, but it also says,
Q: I have my game in img/ccd...
A: Use the img as the iso.
I read it like 10 times.
Just found some ISOs and BINs on my external HD. None of those worked either :(
Where are you guys in FF7? I hope when you use a summon, it doesnt freeze like FF8.:o
Ok this is the last thing the be all end all
Get the Dll
put it in c>windows>system32 folder
POPSTATION FOLDER
put the hot shots eboot in there as base.pbp
the key.bin also goes in there
Your iso, bin, img whatever, name that image.***
In notepad tpye in "popstation.exe image.***"
no quotes
save it as pops.bat and put it in the popstation folder
double click pops
and youre done
i downloaded hot shots 2 and there is 9 keys.bin files and 9 eboot files. what do i do with them?
Tomba 2 (u) works :D
man this is awesome i wonder why sony wouldnt release more ****ing games if their emulator worked so well... anyways thanks dark alex for letting us actually put sonys emulator to good use
whatever i do, it brings up in the cmd: Cannot open image.iso
I was going thru my ps collection of games to try out. DDR (us) sits at a now loading screen (waited 5 mins for it, should be more then enough) and I don't know anyone posting this, sry for reposting if it was but don't feel like spend a load of time looking since I'm trying games of different genres to see it's limitations if any, final fantasy 7 on disc 1 had a small offset in certain sounds, and the arrow for the menu in the battle screen has a graphic glitch. So far, 20 games with some wii time, no other problems other then I need a bigger mem card for more storage I've come across. Great job, and keep up the awsome awsome work for the future of homebrew psp owners and their community.
ps: minus a few Aholes out there, you know their out there somewhere , to ruin every one elses lives.
sry guys 4 posting this again but i cant find the fiels to make popstation to work can some one tell me or can u email me at [email protected]
i got everything to work but cant find the hot shots 2 and keys.bin files thanx.
Is there a way to remove or edit the description that pops up in every game?
The one that says "Put on some pants and head out to the course in HOT SHOTS GOLF®2!"
THPS2 all runs full speed, sound is great but there is a graphic problem all the way around the edges of the screen.
Download PSPBrew from here:
PSP Brew v0.80
You can then delete the all of the .png files from the eboot. It make take 1-2 minutes to open the eboot because of it's size.
Yep, I have popstation.exe, BASE.PBP, KEYS.BIN, image.iso, and the pops.bat file. Whenever I run the line in cmd or batch, it just brings up that same message. I've tried all my psx games, none will convert.
I also have all the updates for microsoft windows xp if that helps at all... :/
Awesome. :3 I got FF8 running on it and it works perfectly.
My Final Fantasy 7 version is PAL and it works fine. Only problem is the screen is slighty misplaced and cuts off the top part of the PSP
Someone should start a thread just for compatibility reports.
Rally Cross 2 by 989 Studios worked up to the point where you actually start the race, then crashed.
:( it still didn't work...lol i sound so retarded but i have everything exactly. it still says Cannot open image.iso =(
THPS3, the europe version works, slighlty not in the center of the screen. Suffers from the graphic problem as THPS2.
starogre dont worry im having the same problem :s
Up until 30 mins ago I had the same thing.
I followed someones instructions and it's all good.
My popstation folder looks like this,
base.pbp
DOCUMENT
KEYS
pops (note pad, write--- popstation.exe image.img/iso/bin --- whatever you file is)
popstation
image.img (your game, if it's other than an .img then change to suit)
Have that .dll file in windows/system32.
Open the pops file.
can someone please email the hot shots 2 keys.bin and eboot to [email protected]. i have no way to obtain these and i need this really bad!!
before i upgrade to this nu firware i want to be able to play mgs all the way thru is there a way of swapping discs ect or has anyone played with this longenough to have tgot to that point on mgs on psp???
There's no way to swap discs. Most you can hope is saving between discs like FF does, but I think MGS doesn't do that. I think you're screwed then...
I'm in the process of backing up Star Wars masters of teras kasi. awesome fighting game... OLD too, hehe. I'll let y'all know how it works.
ive figured it out starogre
remove the data and keys file type at the end
then it works
I musta done something wrong, there. It actually loaded hotshots golf, lol. I think I'll try a different game. Heh.
no warez requests EVER
-the captain.
sorry about what i said earlier. it seems bin files and img files do work..
another oddity is.. monster rancher. just for shits and gigles i wanted to see if it would load a monster by reading the iso and just thinking it was the monster rancher disc (it usually gives you some red wolf monster) but instead i got a plant... its apparently reading the disc differently than on a real PSone.
If you want to get rid of the transparent information field when creating one of these then
create a blank txt file and rename it "PIC0.png"
This way only the "ICON0.png" and "PIC1.png" are displayed.
Yeah I can't get it to work either. I have all 6 necessary files, but when i double click pops, it just instantly opens and closes. My CD image is a BIN file if that means anything (Crash Bandicoot 3).
