Ahhh the red screen!

omg!!! you psp has been possesed :eek:
ok well it went but I am still 2.71?
I have downgraded several PSP's and thinking I am an expert on the subject I jumped and tried to downgrade a friend's PSP 2.71 before I checked the board.
Guess what: He had a ta-082 board!
Luckily for me he had bought a warrantee at Best Buy and was able to replace his PSP.
Please make a sticky about the ta-082 motherboard so others who can not replace there PSP do not make the same mistake!
Always open the UMD compartment and make sure the following is not stamped on the right hand side of the board showing: IC003!
If you try to downgrade you will:
1. Make your PSP a $200 paper weight.
2. Able to use your PSP as an interactive Frisbee.
3. Give it to your dog as a chew toy.
4. Most importantly (If you are under 18) explain to your parents why your $200 Christmas/birthday present is not working and why you can not get it replaced!
If you bought your PSP from Best Buy there is a good chance you have this board. DO NOT try to DOWNGRADE before you read all files and do some research!
wtf?...try it again
and dweeze, we know this
@theking
