how do you move a thread?
i think mods can do it
Mods can do it.
I'm entitled to post just as much as you are. Don't go starting an argument again.
pokemon ranger wont load stays white for a good moment
All Moderators can do it. I won't be banned for correcting someone, and if I am... I don't see why you wouldn't be either.
i would say something back but its so not worth getting banned over it.
acn do you think that the region type of games matter?
ie: mario 64 ds (usa), mario 64 ds (jpn)
Enough with this petty arguing, keep to the topic at hand - all of you.
xg917, i dont have such region games, so i have no idea
I am guessing that the compatibility of this emulator is a little bit inferior to the latest DeSmuME release... so maybe games that worked on two or three versions earlier may work... while those that have not worked up until the latest version may not? Just a speculation. And if the next release is then... a port of a next version of DeSmuME, maybe we can expect a tad bit more compatibility with game... and probably something will be sped up as well.
Edit: And yes... the region may affect some games... but it's very game-dependent. As far as I know, games that run well in one region will also run well in another region.
i must agree
You mean various releases by different release groups? *coughhack* Well, if you rip your own ROM, (which is inconvenient as heck, last time I tried... and it's still illegal according to Nintendo documentations), that won't be the case. But yeah, there are bad dumps out there alright... but they're very rare.
mine doesn't work, and the readme is in Japanese
its the rom that doesnt work so dont wory about it. test another.
Anyone can help me? How is this DS EMU work? Do I need to convert the orginal ds rom? Can anyone give me the instruction? Thanks
o.k.
It's easy to make fun of someone from across the internet. All those 12 an 14 year old kids do it all the time. I bet if that person you were flaming were standing right in front of you, you would say anything. You'd keep your mouth shut.
That's what all the flammers on this thread should do. Shut up!
And those of you that would have the balls to flame someone to their face, you should be F@#$%ed up.
Because no one is above an @ss Whoopin!
J
Also, to those two dudes that were trading racial remarks, you two should get out of this country. Cuz every one know's all of north America belongs to the indians.. Duh!
J
hey, instead of have that guy from the daily show as your avitar, you should but a picture of a black dude. then, everyone will shut up, Cuz that will mean you like black dudes.
oh yeah, does this emu have access to the kernel memory? N E one know?
do you mean flash0 and flash1 i can tell your new to this
j78046:
1: u dont got anything to do wit da argument
2: dont talk about it, you can get banned. wraggster said people are watching this thread to report anything going on so you are just making it worse.
3: i dont think it has kernel access :/ not sure

alright anyone thinks this will go into wifi one day
r u crazy..
The words I wrote promoting my new song "War Between Ideals" fix this thread rather nicely...
For every ambition, there is contradiction.
For every belief, there is negation.
Life is lived on this battlefield of discrepancy.
Hope, be it for love or justice...
Must be fought for with determination.
This is the "War Between Ideals".
Fight, or face the wounds of vendetta.
On topic:
Are people really making a compatibility list for this? What's the point?
Game1 - Gets to title screen, 1fps, can't play w/o input
Game2 - See above
Game3 - See above
Etc...
Etc...
That gotta be what it looks like, no?
1. its the first port/emu of NDS for PSP so dont expect much out of it
2. i dont think Exo is jealous.. its true that anyone couldve easily ported this and that its kinda a waste of time since it will never be full speed unless this coder can code big time.. also i still appreciate that someone took the time to port it when no one else wanted to. its not bad to be curious how this would turn out. exo if you took the time to make a DS emu then that would be great! you r a hell of a coder and i believe that you would be able to make the best out of this moment :) honestly i think there would be no competition between you and the guy that ported this if you decide to make a DS emu.
3. the coder/porter made psptube so i wouldnt underestimate him yet..
4. gizmo just to let u know this is a demo.. its not the real deal as of yet. lets just wait to see if this progresses later in the future
Test Release
PEOPLE... UNDERSTAND, ITS JUST A TEST ON HOW THE PSP WOULD REACT ON THIS EMU... AS FAR AS I CAN SEE THIS EMU RUNS OK WITH SOME GREAT COMMERCIAL GAMES... I HAVE TESTED SOME AND THEIR RUNNING WITH FULL GRAPHIC AND SOUND, PROBLEM IS JUST SPEED... IF SOMEBODY WORKS WITH SUCH SOURCE IT MAY BE POSSIBLE TO RUN GAMES ATLEAST ON DECENT SPEED, NOT ONLY THAT, THE BUTTON SETTINGS MUST BE IN A SPECIFIC WAY TO EMULATE AS THE DS.....
AS FOR NOW, THIS EMU IS JUST A TEST ON HOW THE PSP WOULD REACT TO THE SOURCE CODE
If I recall, there was a touch screen for the PSP already made or in development, for homebrew purposes.
If it is coded from scratch with support for analog stick touchscreen or the touchscreen accessory thing, as well as the ability to show only one screen at once to double the speed, then this will work, maybe not entirely at full speed, but close enough.
It'll probably take a LONG time to get that far though, but it would truly be worth it.
When there is nothing more to work on with the current emulators, maybe the DS emulator could become a final joint project for everyone to work towards.
full sound you say, is it that good?
Can anyone suggest a game that shows off the best of the ability of this test release?.
Thanks :)

enjoy
(all games are slow, dont expect atleast one running ok)
Do we have a compatibility list?
Some games like Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney ,
or trauma: Life in the ER
probably wouldn't need to run fast to enjoy. :)
there is no button input.. so its not good yet....
and the speed is like 1-3fps, lol
