to gmer,
make sure in system youre running 3.03 HEN
if HEN is not running it wont run the downgrader
to Xaruis,
my screen goes black on 4th brightness level when in recovery...try turning brightness level down
to coreboy,
during the 3.03 downgrade it will ask you if you'de like to patch your MoBo
it will not run on a ta-082 unless you do
which is great

Not sure how to do this, when i try to drag the files to the memory stick, is says "Confirm File Replace" with the eboot.pbp, which i think is why its not working, so what do i do? BTW im using the HEN not the downgrader,

Now the 2.81 ta-082 Sony shipped me after I bricked the other PSP can be upgraded to 3.03 then downgraded to run homebrew! :D

Just wondering, but is it safe to downgrade to 1.5, and then use the downgrader for going from 1.5 to 1.0?
I would think so but why go back to version 1.00 anyway?
how come whenever i try to download the 3.03 upgrade from the site in the readme, I'm told it's a damaged file or it doesnt work?
Kinda late in the game but I can honestly say I successfully downgraded a friends psp 2.81>3.03>1.5>3,03oe-b with absolutely no problems. Excellent downgrader, makes the original 2.8 downgrader I had to use look like a leap of faith.

then i downloaded the files put them on my memory stick but !! i dont know which files in which folder :D
sry I#m biggest noob on psp ;) and thereis no ms_root on my memory stick ... just the mp_root what can i do? ( ms is formated!)

... You put everything from inside the MS_ROOT folder into the root of your PSP, replacing the PSP folder etc.

then i went into the ms_root copy the psp into my ms clicked replace
then started gta ... and gta started :-/
now i'll delete the psp folder and copy the ms_root

did you copy all the files from the 303dg.zip to the MS?
Example
you then have to open the 1.5 update zip and rename the EBOOT.PBP to UPDATE.PBP then copy it to /PSP/GAME/UPDATE/
Make sure not to overwrite PSP/GAME/UPDATE/EBOOT.PBP
then launch GTA:LCS.
