Will You Ever Out Grow Video Games?

I woke up this morning asking myself... Am I immature? Alot of kids i know outgrow video games, but not me.. Do I have some kind of problem or something? I plan on buying video games the rest of my life! I am only 18 (still in training to be an adult) and i hope to get a Nintendo DS soon! I spend money to tweak my xbox and I have a pretty big library of games that is still growing! I like my video games more than my girlfriend because they don't call me all the time and bother me! In fact, what do you think im doing when she calls?! I am playing video games. AM I NORMAL!?!? OH MY GOD! Will I play untill im old and gray?! -no offence to waggster. :P

seriously most people never outgrow video games, i work with a 65 year old who is mad on games and i know plenty more like that.

I hope not, but the more new games that come out the more i find myself loving retro games, 2D especially, is there going to be a time when I can get games I like any more and so will be foreced to give up because of it?

i'll still have a games console when i'm 80... but my girlfriend comes before games i'm affraid... note the spelling of the word comes... ;)

I will always enjoy video games. More importantly, I will play my Dreamcast until I am no longer able to find a working DC console.
