Before I begin, I freely acknowledge that I'm a retard.

I attempted to downgrade my 2.7.1 PSP to 1.5. Now, I checked the UMD for the IC-003 and it was so small that I didn't see it last night with the lighting, and El Bricko occured. Today, I saw the microscopic IC-003 so my mobo was a TA-082.

Is it possible to take the El Bricko PSP back?

If you have a recipt, then yes you can take it back.

Really? Hope I can dig up the receipt, then... and possibly exchange the PSP for one that doesn't have a TA-082.

You probally will get TA-082 as there are in the shops now but why downgrade to 1.50 beacuse 2.71 supports homebrew as well

Yeah just tell them your psp stopped working and you have no idea what happened to it.;)

Will they exchange it at the store or do I have to contact Sony?

It just depends on the type of person you talk to.
How long ago did you buy it?

June 2nd. So about 5 months ago.

If you get lucky they will exchange it but if you get some wiseguy then he will say you have to send it to sony.
