From a hardware standpoint, the PSP -- with its wide-format display, powerful graphics and mini-optical drive -- wallops Nintendo's Game Boy and dual-screen DS systems. But leading-edge hardware is only part of the equation.

Software, specifically game titles, can make or break a game system. Here, too, Sony receives high marks. Nearly two-dozen PSP titles from Sony, Electronic Arts, Ubisoft, Namco, Activision and Konami will arrive with the PSP.

EA, read the latest share news. ubisoft, hardly make great games do they, activision???? Consistently releasing banal and VERY poor games. The only two good publishers in your little list are Namco and Konami, the rest really do bite. But please can we just stop all of this pathetic MINE IS BETTER THAN YOURS SHITE. Oh and please people when you refer to an article lets not clutch at any old straws here. Since when has any major news network been right on Videogames?? You can bet your last pound that next week they will be calling for your heads when company-A releases a violent game. Very true Wraggster, I suppose you have to remember the 80's and early 90's to remember how eg "NINTENDO KILLED MY SON" "PLAYSTATION CAUSES DEATH OF TEENAGER" etc etc etc. I just wish that SOMEONE!!! would make a rule against Fanboy rants like the above, its just such a poor excuse for a debate of any merit. My Nintendo DS is loved and played on a regular in my house and my (ordered but not arrived) PSP will be equally loved when it arrives. Thay can both co-exist!

Speaking of which.. Hackers is on channel 5 this thursday :p

anyway.. EA despite the shares thing is still the biggest publisher and make awesome games :P the EA:Big games rule.
Ubisoft released 3 games on the DS (rayman - old ps game, urban ashphalt - on my ngage and Sprung which looks quite poo), compared to just the one on PSP.. Lumines which is by the designer of Rez (a classic IMO) and Space Channel 5 which was on the DC anyway heh

The biggest and best of course, Konami and Namco should release alot of worthwhile games in the near future anyway as well as the great games out already.. RR and MGA :)

I agree, there should be a stop to the fanboy labeling and such.. but if people are gonna comment back sayin stuff like "oh please, the DS has far better.." I guess it's fair play.
If you don't like the PSP then dont post. I've not seen many people in the DS forum complaining about the DS and sayin the PSP is better.. unless someone would like to point me to any posts that prove otherwise.

p.s. Nobody take this comment as aimed at them, its just a generalised comment aimed at all users really.

im think i remember the sun giving driver 3, 9/10!!! the media is crap and curropt, edge did a article a while ago about it which gave a examples ( with out naming names) of s publishers saying "give a our crap racing game a good review and we will give u an exclusive on our really big game" and there is pretty much nothing the law can do! also alot of them get outsiders to review a game and give them something like 30p a word or something, the problem is that reviewer does not really play the game e.g. some guy reviewed a rpg for the GBA, but when the editor went to play the game himself after the review was given to him he found that the save file was 13 mins!!!
