Now, I read Wii64's compatibility list, and Goldeneye is on there.
Problem is, whenever I run it, it never starts. It hangs at 1 fps.
I read somewhere that it's the rom, not the emulator that isn't working.
Now, here's my question.
WHICH rom am I supposed to use? Does it have to be a certain file type or something? I've tried .v64 and .z64, to the same results.

Okay, apparently I have to wait a looooooooong time for the Rom to be loaded.
My question is, though, why the compatibility list says it's playable.
The highest fps I got on there was 4.
I don't call that playable.
Hey, its a work in progress (and it's only the third update).
Goldeneye is also a pretty demanding N64 game.
Just give the devs more time and I'm positive it'll be running much more smoothly.

I was just a little confused as to why I was only getting 4 fps, even though they said playable. >.<
And it's a shame that Dynarec mode isn't working right. That'd probably boost the speed quite a lot.
Sadly, all I get when I use that is some wierd, green screen with some form of lines running across it. (It almost looks like circuitry to me.)
speaking about the wii64 does anyone have a link to download the .elf virsion of the emu? i cant use a dol to elf converter (on a macintosh)
It's on the main release thread for Wii64. Just look in the News forum for it.

it works for me at 2fps after leaving it on for 5 mins
