Looks awesome! Not cheezy at all! Cant wait for the release.
**** YAY!! Best Freaking RTS in the World.
Wow .
Waiting for release !
waiting for this port.
the cool thing is that the original command and conquer is freeware too :)
will this be compatible with the dreamcast controller, or keyboard & mouse only?
who knows?
That's great news!
There's only one problem that I can think of, how are you going to get all the C&C data on one CDR?, it's been a long, long time since I played the original game, maybe ditching the audio (or maybe compression of some sorts) would work.
the first C&C came on 2 discs (cd), one GDI the other NOD. i'm sure there would be enough room
Looks like the DC scene is coming back with full force. I hope this turns out.

info on freeware command and conquer :)
Both, FreeCnC is using my SDL driver that emulates mouse with analog stick.
Btw, digital stick is used for scrolling and L-Trigger for appear/disappear headquarter menu. Any suggest/idea for mapping some keys to buttons?
Why not 2 CDs too? And i think that original disks is not complete full.
But FreeCnC for Dreamcast needs more work for real playable because i think that original FreeCnC is not complete. Maybe we will export some source code from FreeRA project and do some new parts.
it has 2 cds simply because you play as the different factions.
Free RA eh, now red alert for me would be bloody awesome on dreamcast, esp if mods work, i used to be big into the red alert modding scene, (created a few mods myself way back in the day)
cant wait for this release :)
please make this a full release then we can play C&C on the tv without worrying with windows crashing
A bit late to the party but never the less this is great news. Who cares about two discs any way, "homebrew" on two discs! Think of it like playing Shenmue or something.
