5.03 ChickHEN Mod v2

m0skit0 has released an Updated Mod of the Homebrew Enabler for the PSP, heres the translated release details:

This is my second amendment on the TIFF exploit MaTiaZ to load and execute the kernel mode exploit Dave, which in turn activates the ChickHEN. PSP works 100% in 2000, but this time I could not try it on PSP 3000. These changes are for those who do not work the first amendment.

Please follow the instructions step by step:

Turn on the PSP
Plug the USB to PC
Now the PC should see that a device has been inserted
We open the device to explore it and copy the download here (at the root of MemoryStick)
Extracting the ChickHEN Mod.zip. We do that with the substitutions.
Now do the safe removal of the PSP in Windows and go to the PSP (please first quiet, rush counselors are bad)
Press or to leave the USB
Let's photos, down to Memory Stick and give to the X
We hope to load the image of the egg in the square that puts ChickHEN mod2
When the image we give X
PSP 2000: DO NOTHING MORE
PSP 3000: down rapidly in the last picture (thanks to mvisions)

Download: ChickHEN mod2.zip

If you are not working, and you will be blocked off. Turn it on and try again following all the steps (and no need to re-copy images, of course).

it works perfectly on psp 3000! first try:D i have a psp 3004, with firmware 5.03, and a red 4gb SanSisk Memory Stick Pro Duo

you cannot have any other pictures saved in your psp, that was my friends problem

Works for me. PSP2006 v5.03 . TIFF image still works even after a freeze. Thanks!

Ive tried alotta methods and this one actually worked!! i was unsure the first 10 tries but if it freezes the first time keep trying :) My psp is a 2001 and nothing worked till now ^^

i got psp 3000 with 5.03 OFW,and its made in japan,i've tried to load chickhen mod2 place all the files in place followed instructions,but still i cant load chickhen,is there any problem with japan models?

thanks a lot... this one works perfectly! tried 5 versions and this only worked on a 3003 5.03..

Ive tried to install Chicken it works. But then should I also install CFW or Chicken is just enough to run the games from ISO.When i try to install CFW, i get a write error.
