I came across this topic over at Dreamcast-Scene.com:[br][br]Shenmue Online has been developed since early 2003. A first public test run is planned for the first half of 2005. Theres never a better way to kill a good series then by making a bad online game.

I've never come close to finishing the original Shenmue, but it has to be the most impressive game (and coolest ideas) I've ever seen. Kudos to anyone with the patience to finish it, though.
But if you played Shenmue you know its a deep story and by having a online game the story would be dramtically cripled.
Yeah, I understand what you mean, but I think it's just a sidequest and has not that much to do with the actual storyline ;D
As long as we still get shenmue 3 :D

i finished shenmue for dreamcast it was a great story... im currently playing shenmue 2 for xbox now
I got the DC version of Shenmue 2 ;D
Afaik, the graphics are the same on xBox & DC versions :)
Well they're pretty much the same. The xbox one looks a little washed out but it has better draw distance and smoother textures. So it kinda works out. No version is superior to the other. Tho I perfer the DC controller so i play my Japanese shenmue for DC. But I still bought the xbox one :D. Gotta support Sega.
