I've not spent much time on MAME-PSP recently, and it seems it has shown! MAME4ALL has been ported to the PSP; something I probably should have looked into myself.
So what are your thoughts on this, my fellow arcade fans!
I will keep my promise. I will release a BETA of MAME-PSP that runs 30 games near flawlessly very soon, just give me a day or so to clean up a little. It's worth the wait I promise ;)

I personaly think you should carry on, there maybe some usuable code in Mame4all that might help make more games work, but your realease sounds the most polished of the MAME ports
MikeDX I hope that release, maybe mame4all will help you in the future with the emulation of cps1, neogeo and system16 because the source code is abailable. Great work MikeDX!!
Arent the 2 emulators based on diff Mame builds.
Mame4all is using 0.34/0.35 base and TMK mame, which MikeDX is using is based on mame 0.97.

I just tried out MAME 4 All and it worked pretty good, but it needs a lot of polish.
I have no idea how much frameskip is being used, and the sound is pretty whack. However, CPS1 and NeoGeo games are playable. I have yet to try any big roms to see what happens then (probably crash).
It could be a good port, but I'm still really looking forward to yours, because it sounds like it's more optimized and clean, and maybe has more potential.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to the release.

Nah, don't worry about MAME4ALL, it doesn't run Elevator Action. I'm sure MAME-PSP will (eventually at least) ;)
We're all just waiting for your release. Mame4all-psp doesn't cut it just yet. Once we've got our hairy hands on your mame we'll all know we've been happy to wait (but not that happy...seems I've been following progress on this for ages!)

Great emulator! I think you are doing exactly the right thing - concentrating on QUALITY.
I'd much rather have a handfull of roms that play perfectly than 300 roms that "kind-of-play" with lots of frameskip and unresponsive controls, tinny sound and a crappy menu.
