Nope there isn't
you could try the mod chip
Sony released the 2.01 "update" as soon as the 2.0>1.5 downgrader was released.

Unfortunatly not :p If you look in a few forums here, you will see a sticky entitled "2.70 and lower cannot be downgraded, Dont ask"
Only 2.0 can be downgraded :D

But still, he messed up when he said 2.70 and lower can't be downgraded, because 2.0 is lower than 2.70 and it CAN be downgraded. What he should have said is 2.1 and higher can't be downgraded.

can 1.5 be downgraded? NO
Can 1.51 or 1.52 be downgraded? NO
So either way, you have to be on firmware 2.0 to be able to downgrade anyway. (By either Updating or having that firmware version already)
Only 2.0 can be downgraded, like i said above. So get your facts straight before you start needlessly criticising people
Do u have to have 1.5 to run an emulator
no. You can have either 1.0,1.5,2.0,2.1,2.5 or 2.6 and you will be able to run emulators and homebrew.
2.7 and up can't run homebrew yet
