This is an extreamely early metroid lua game
I am a new lua coder
Its story is supposed to thake place after fusion and The SA-X is supposed to escape from samus body
I am looking for beta testers
Version 0.01 (public beta 1)
Metroid fusion background
samus moves
Things to do
samus moves only in a line not up and down
A.I
shooting
doors
boss
menu credits etc.

Yo...i'm a metroid fan too....in some sense i guess...
Good going on the script so far...
Here's a few things i noticed when i moved about:
Samus moves left faster than when moving right
Instead of jumping Samus moves along the Y-Axis:D
i can't wait for the real thing
yeh ninja its not a bad start off, god theres so many games i'm waitin for to develope fully this just made the list :D
Im willing to become a beta tester if yew need one. I really like the look of this game and i am willing to help in any way i can

Oh, flipping heck.
Just looked at the code and it is basically gizmo356's code with different images, some very minor changes (eg move up and down) and the same mistakes.
Don't try to deny it as it distinctively gizmo356's coding style.
last night i had a problem we\ith it and i couledt fix it and i asked gizmo356 to help me out and as it turned out he fixed it.it said on the error message
"ERROR: metroid rosax.lua:26 <eof> expected near 'end'
Sounds like one too many 'end' s. Regardless, the entire code (all 34 lines of it) is in gizmo356's coding style and it feels that you wrote very little yourself ( I be guessing the up and down on the Dpad response).
eell remember when i was asking for tutorials he gave me one
yer well it looks to be coming on nicely, i wouldnt have been able to do all that at that speed. but i go for more of a perfectionists look and get everything working perfectly and scrap beta testing
I wish you the best of luck learning Lua and making this game....but Ewwww....The sprites are horrid. They look badly stretched, overbitten and lacking in resolution. Sorry, but it's true. I hope Shadowblind hooks you up with some better sprites...Not to worry, he will.

I'm never really interested in games when they are this early in development but I love Metroid so I hope it all comes together and turns into something awesome! Good luck.

its a basic start, i start a lua game a few days ago in 5 minutes my engine was already better than that..
but i guess it is EARLY
