yea, just see if you have text inside your umd drive on the upper right corner, if you do you can't
no i have no letters or numbers has this been done before ?

Correct me if im wrong here but i thought you couldn't downgrade a factory 2.60?
A factory 2.60 is one that comes with the 2.60 already installed. And when the downgrader was released it was stated that only previously upgraded PSP's can be downgraded...
really confused...but just dl the easy downgrader, if everything is correct go for it, but be warned

its wierd....he had the same motherboard as i do.....but i bought my psp when it was 2.5....upgrade to 2.6....downgrade to 1.5...worked like a charm....his didnt get soo lucky!
he got a new psp warranty though from walmart!
2.6 motherboards have TA-082
I know that is a bummer good thing I'm one of the lucky people that baught a virgin 1.5, well not virgin anymore I added custom firmware so its already been tinkered with ;)

I was absolutly bricking it when the memory stick light stopped for aboot 5 seconds whilst performing the downdate. Good job my PSP didn't do the same as me haha :rolleyes:
