Breakthrough For Ta-082 Owners

0okm has made it apparent that there is indeed hope for TA-082 motherboard owners! As simply stated on his blog:

PSP Multi Firmware module will support TA-082 on NEXT Ver.
so if your TA-082 PSP is FW2.50 or FW2.60
don’t update!!!

What does this mean? Well, by the looks of it, TA-082 owners who are currently left unable to downgrade could very well be on their way to 1.50 freedom! Nothing is available to the public as of yet - rest assure, it’s being worked on and we may see something sooner than later. In the meantime - as 0okm said - don’t upgrade your psp

I hope you realize this isn't a software based hack.

This hack to get TA-082 downgraded uses a custom homebuilt modchip. I'm hesitant to this, but since 0okm has been working on this for months, and since there is as of now no other way for TA-082 to downgrade, I suppose this is something to keep an eye on.

awesome news for the left behind, to survive on their own, TA-082 motherboard owners, come bask in the glory of custom and emulated fw!!!!...well soon anyways lol :D

well this is great news for everyone because it brings a little compitition into the psp modchip seen meaning that prices will have to start lowering on the UP.

oh, and i need some one with a TA-082 motherboarded psp to beta test a hack for me, i think thats the only motherboard my thingy-majig works on

now which is which I have 2.60 psp with an IC1003.....some say TA-082, TA-083 and TA-084. i've seen this on several websites already? would TA-082 be compatible with TA-083 and 84?

Also could someone tell me if you downgrade, can you still use your internet browser though?

look some of us here are newbies...............at least try to be considerate who tries to find some answers and not just write some crap. unlike you NO OFFENSE I like my PSP intact and I try to look for answer before I downgrade. Downgrading is the last thing I'll do to my PSP.
