I believe it unbricks your psp by flashing the original firmware chip on your motherboard using it's own nand flash tool.

no you can't brick your psp with up, i think you can't even brick if you dual boot / autoboot on custom
i dont have one, but is getting a TA-082 psp just luck of the draw, or what?
if u have a bricked psp, after u install the chip, when u turn it on will it just be unbricked? or do u have to do a process?
It will probably come with a firmware of it's own, so yes, effectively it will be unbricked. You can also flash a firmware update to the device.Quote:
