Hi,
I'm trying to connect my PSP to my home network.. but to no avail, i keep getting an Error 80110482, even though i know that the details i have entered are perfect?
I'm running a Netgear DG834 with 128bit WEP, it supports both g & b, and i've also registered the MAC address of the PSP to the router...
any advice?
Just to let people know that i sorted it... the reason was DHCP and the assigning of automatic IP addresses....
Once i had given the PSP a fixed IP address the darn thing connected straight away!

I hope someone can help me. I'm trying to connect to the internet through my psp. I have wireless broadband with Wanadoo. I keep getting the error message of 80110482 when i test the connection. Davesy mentions he gave his psp it's own I.P address. I am clueless with stuff like that. Could anyone give me a walkthrough on what i need to do?

Im having the same problem. I took the ip setting off auto, but I dont know what ip to give it.
Heres a solution I stole off another site somewhere that may help you. It helped me..I am using a DLINK DI-624 ROUTER.

I have a friend's psp and he wanted me to update it. I've had similar problems as you have and google led me here. Nothing helped, so i took my networking skillz that killz and it helped me get this thing updated. What you need to do is on your router set your PSP as the DMZ so any ports that PSP uses the router will let through. Use your home network IP octets (192.168.1.xxx for mine, probly 192.168.0.xxx for most). I setup the psp for manual IPs, to have 192.168.1.17 for its IP, and thats what I set the DMZ in my router for. Subnet should be left at 255.255.255.0 for the class C address assigned to your home network. For the default router, use the IP of your router (mine=192.168.1.1). For DNS, use the IP of your router as well. You do not need a secondary DNS. If you have a WEP key, then enter it in the network config in the PSP when you setup your connection. Now, you will have to disable the powersave for the WLAN in your PSP. It's in the powersave section of the settings menu. After you have done all that, it should work (it did for me anyway). THis probly confused alot of people, so I'll review

Name: Whatever you wanna call it
SSID: Just hit scan and select your nettywork
Encryption: If you have one, put in the key
Address Setting: Custom>Manual
#keep in mind this is for my network, yours may be different
IP Address: 192.168.1.17
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Default Router: 192.168.1.1
Primary DNS: 192.168.1.1
Secondary DNS: 0.0.0.0
Proxy Server: If you have one, hit use, if not then hit dont use
review your settings then save them
then try and update with that.
dont forget to turn off WLAN Power Save

i saw that too, and it's bogus. it never worked for me
here the simplest way to do it:
set up your psp like it's a pc.
router ip is most likely 192.168.1.1
dns are usually the same as the router, but not always.
the psp ip can be anything withing range of your router. (192.168.1.*, in most cases)
man i did all that stuff but i still get error 80410D07
you sure your router has wireless features, right?
just turn off the wireless power save or whatever it is and it will connect without any problem....you dont have to go thru other options that everyone was saying.

wtf I bought this wifi max thign have everything setup right to wha tthe instructions said but it says limited or no connectivity and when I try connect PSP to it it gives me 80110482
erm this is a thread from last year shuichi4321 next time make a new thread oh and make sure your router is allowing new stations on automatically and not manually also make sure youv'e typed in your ip adress default gateway and dns server manually you can get the info by typing in "ipconfig/all" using the run program at the start button and typing in open command.
I am ultra noob to router and shit liek that could you gicve me a link ot za tutorial or something on what you just said -_-
