I recently downgraded my 2.60 PSP to 1.50, and now I'm wondering if I should go all the way down to 1.00. Which is the better version of Firmware, 1.00 or 1.50? What are the advantages and disadvantages of each?

1.5 is better. Get harlegys custom firmware for it. Then you will have the benefit of having no corrupt data icons.
OK, why is 1.50 better?
all the new homebrew is designed for 1.5, But there is no harm in trying to out 1.0, then if you don't like it, go back up to 1.5
Devhook doesnt work on 1.0

i preffer 2.71 SE-B, but if ur using 1.00 or 1.5, use 1.5 with casual firmware installed.Quote:

2.71 se b' hides all the corrupt data and plays all 1.0 and 1.5 homebrew just place all of them in game150 folder its sweet but 1% of all homebrew on 1.5 and 1.0 dont work and there are a few homebrew that crashes easily like super mario war 1.0 but apart from that homebrew are sweet in dis firmware.
