1.Download Tiff Fonthacker
2.Download O to X
3.Copy both system.dreg and system.ireg to your MS.
4.Open your FONTHACKER folder in your photo.
5.Press O To Copy.
6.Your PSP will restart and your Done!!

Use this mod/hack to make your PSP feel more Japanese. This configuration reminds me of Metal Gear Solid.

i suppose this will work on 2.6s?

Don't the older firmwares have button mapping homebrew?

dun remember any, didn't see any...lol
but somehow i get the feeling that using it on my 2.6 will result in a brick...esp since the system.ireg and system.dreg should be from a 2.8 psp in the first place...i'm definitely not ready to try it :p

Is this TA-082 friendly?

All homebrew is TA-082 friendly... except those that access hardcore flash. I think we spooked these poor TA-082 boys whenever we would release a downdater that stated DO NOT USE IF YOU HAVE A TA-082!!1

Now, does this mean they have finally access to the flash? A downgrader should be no problem i guess:cool:

nope, it's just flash1, wheree system settings are stored. 2.80 can't access flash0, which is where the actual firmware is.

no one actually gets that

I didn't get it until I tried (and failed) to install the fonthack on my psp.

When I put this on my psp, it came up with the 'press O to restore default settings' screen and I had to press x to confirm it. It's kinda like what happened to me with fonthack- it worked, but for some reason it corrupted the settings info.

Can't you accsess flash0 on the fileassistant, cause i heard sometihing about flashing a background to the flash0, witch could trigger a downgrader

I do since my buttons are inverted but I currently have 2.81 :(

LESS Japanese I think you mean! :p If you've got a Japanese PSP (like me) O is select and X is cancel - this program would fix that! (Devhook does it for me if I want though!) :D Great program if you want to Westernise your PSP ;)

on this one it changes the security password. what is it number??

1. Don't bump old threads
2. Give your PSP a full reboot then when turning it on hold the R trigger, go to Registry hacks then click button assign, voila, O to select and X to cancel.
