Idea to end UMD piracy

I have an idea that I think would end UMD piracy on the PSP for all new discs regardless of firmware or mobo.

I am just not sure how to market it.

Any idea who I should contact and protect it?

If it is a real idea that will actually prevent umd piracy. He should patten it first then sell it to Sony. Sony is know for using things that don't belong to them and profiting from it. Hell they just lost a 300 million dollar lawsuit appeal for there psp and a bunch of cameras.

I would trust Macrovision more than Sony!

I'm cheap. Plus the money I don't spend on PSP games I spend at local stores that actually need money. Even if PSP isos weren't around I'd probably still not buy PSP games, I'd just rely on hombrew only.

i dont care if u call me a ****ing pirate. i dont give a shit how much money sony makes. y do u??? they roll around in all there cash by over pricing stuff. and guess where some of that cash goes to??? research on preventing homebrew making people upgrade. u guys always talk about how much u hate sony, so then y do u care how much money they make??? Haha. If we are just talking about the gaming division, that statement is the COMPLETE opposite of what is actually happening. They lose money on each system (epsecially on the PS3 when it is released) that it is the only division in the company that makes a loss each year.

companies generally dont make money off of the initial system, mainly because of marketing and advertising costs, and the cost of making the system. the real money comes in software sales. thats why game piracy is such a bad thing.

heh sony have got enough money off me i just rent psp games (need i say more...)
