Damn that's a tough question. I really like Sonic and Knuckles. I love Mario. I think Donkey Kong is cool. Megaman kicks ass. Link is cool.

I guess Megaman might be my favorite old-school character. My favorite new school character would probably be Azrael (or whatever his name is) from Soul Reaver.

I do have to say this is complicated but seen as how i just bought the GBA SP and the only three games i have are mario it would have to be mario and i am thinking about getting sonic or donkey kong but really hitting for the sonic cause sonic kicks so sonics another one

I would have to go with Knuckles.
Although Link from Zelda is pretty kick ass too.

I would say James Sunderland from Silent Hill 2, cos he murdered his wife cos he hated her lol ;)

And James Sunderland can hold sooooo many items at once, including a chainsaw, about 3 poles, a handgun, a shotgun, and lots of health packs lol
