yeh its silver so it prob will smudge.
best thing to do is get the matt black one, its got a nice feel and wont smudge.
i see the matt black one with mix and match red and black button it was well cool!
all faceplates can be smudge with fingerprints
Divineo's Smooth as silk faceplates won't, except for the silver one.
i have the yellow one. its okay if you have time to play around with the buttons a bit, but the up and right buttons are kinda screwy.
If you want me to i can post how i managed to get them working.
