there are no specific dreamcast file formats. Stuff comes in 3 forms. Plain Files, Disc Images, and SBI's... Tell me what is it your needing to learn?

I ve been making a 2d fighting game engine for windows im tryin to port it to dreamcast. how to edit dreamcast plain files

are you using any libaries like SDL? Have you set up a DC development enviroment (KOS, Cygwin)

no you can either use, a bba, coders cables, cdrs(multisession + dc hakker disc is the best way) or some just use chankast, but its unreliable( sometimes , won't run things the dc can and can run things the dc can't)

do u by any chance kno how add air combos to a 2d fighting game engines?
