Yep im on 2.71-SE the greatest firmware there is.
2.71SE baby!!!! 1.5 is too much work and now that uflash is out i have everything i had on my 1.5 :)
I havent been that bothered about changing.
Everything I want works fine already on 1.5 thanyou very much. :)
why do people act like 1.5 traits aren't in 2.71SE :rolleyes: it's like the same damn thing only u have the ability to load the latest UMDs without devhook, hell u can run ISOs without devhook now(even though that's bad mmmkay :)), there is really no downside to 2.71SE now cuz we have:
uflash(2.71SE's xflash)
cheat devices(gta, and cwcheat)
devhook, reverse devhook
ALL emus work
we can change cpu clockspeed for games to 300mhz with wifi
what more do u want?

The only gripe I previously had with 2.71SE, is that 1.5 homebrew needed to be in GAME150! But with SE-B, even that isn't a problem! You can set 1.5 homebrew to the GAME folder, and anything that is in GAME271, GAME, and GAME150 folder will all be detected :D Oh Joy :P

So far its almost straight down the middle, 14-12 split in favour of the 2.71SE (and a 2.8X ;))

and Mr. Shizzy, people have flashed thier psp for fonts and gameboots, ect. over and over again, why not for a custom fw? i would much rather have a better cfw than a font or background every month(maybe u don't go crazy with the fonts, ect. but some people do)
True. But I have HarleyG's 0.2, so I could recover a brick from flashing font, gameboots, ect. If you overwrite critical prx files, and something goes wrong- you are screwed. (unless you go through the mod chip fiasco)

I've considered upgrading,but probably won't until x-flash is compatible.I just trust Arts app.
2.71SE-B' here. The greatest firmware at the moment.. I was a little skeptical to it at first, but thought I could just upgrade and see what it was like, and downgrade if I didn't like it. But I ended up loving it.
It really whips the llamas ass. I recommend all skeptics to at least upgrade and try it out. It's a simple manner to downgrade to good old 1.50 again.
Yes exactly we will just emulate it like on 1.5 but then you will say then theres no point of 2.71 SE. But no there is, the browser runs alot alot better while on the flash plus more memory for it rather than devhook I would get the "run out of memory" thingy but when it's on flash I hardly ever get that..Quote:
