In Killzone: Liberation, two months after the events of Killzone, most of southern Vekta is still under Helghast control. The rules of war have been cast aside with the Helghast General, Metrac, employing brutal measures in order to seize the initiative and strengthen his position further. Returning as Templar, players will be sent on a mission to undertake a covert operation to save hostages captured by Metrac, while ISA troops continue the fight for liberty. No, this game is more like Metal Gear: Solid, only without the clandestine element. NO crawling through air vents to avoid the baddies in this game. This game is all about getting in the enemies face and blowing them up, shooting them to bits, etc.

Its a great game. I recommend anyone who has not gotten it yet, get it. After all, it beat out GTA: Vice City Stories for "game of the month" on IGN.com which says a lot if you ask me.

Any word yet on the firmware required? I'm sure it's a good game, but I don't want to have to upgrade to 2.81, and since I have 2.8 emulation isn't possible.

NO worries my friend! This game actually only requires 2.71 firmware. So you will have no trouble running the game.

really? because it doesn't work through devhook for me could someone please explain how to get this to work?

I backed up my UMD to ISO, used an ENGLISH ONLY ripkit and CiSO compressed it to 375MB.

I'm using a 1.50 PSP equipped with DevHook 0.46 and chunglams Launcher MOD 1.65b. Emulating 2.71 firmware running game at 222 Mhz.

It works great! Theres gotta be some sort of conflict with your setup.

A few titles do not work through devhook, as stated in the readme. You can either update to 2.71 or use 2.71 SE A-B''' to play it.

i prefered first person shooting game

This game is great. Way better then the old FPS PS2 version.
