If you have 1.5 use the devhook ultimate installer
im on 2.71 hen c reverse devhook and am messing about with 3.00 emulation, so will it work for 2.71 hen c?
yeah right you need the flash dump of the firmware you want to use
copy it to the right directory
check the file structure
important reboot every time before you change the firmware with devhook
yeah I used the ultimate installer, doesnt that just install 2.71? Figure each firmware is about 20MB or so and UI is alittle more than that.
so i just put 3.0 decrypt in correct positions, like in the 2.71 folder? then all i have to do is copy the folder?
btw if this is a stupid idea, warn me now, b4 i start the decrypter on my white psp(3.0) and copy to my black(2.71)

Hold on you have a white psp 3.00 the decrypter will not work on that
ok, i didnt run it on my 3.00 downloaded them instead, but why doesnt it work exactly?
Because homebrew doesnt work on 3.00 you need a psp that can run homebrew to use it
The application actually runs on a 1.5 homebrew capable machine. To use it you first extract the DATA.PSAR from the 3.0 eboot using something like PSP Brew software. You then place it in the root of the memory stick.
But, what you are suggesting won't work, you can't load the 3.00 firmware using the current devhook. The most you could possibly manage is a hybrid, like with the 2.71/2.80 hybrid going around.
