Daedalus Shifty

There has been a slow down in n64 emulationdevelopment for PSP, but soon that will all change.

Introducing Daedalus Shifty, a build off Daedalus R8 that my friend Shifty made.

Now, I know what you're thinking: why doesn't shifty just put the emulator on this site himself? Well, it's because he doesnt have an account on DCemu and he doesn't want to get 1 for reasons unknown to me.

Anyways, from what I have seen, Daedalus Shifty runs most games at full speed but still with no sound. There is better textures in game and there is a larger library of compatible games.

I hope to hear peoples opinions on the emulator when it comes out so I can tell Shifty what people want for the next version, so be sure to download the emulator when it comes out.

you can get the emulator here for PSPs with eloader(not 1.5, sorry:( )

If the emulator really runs many games at full speed, then WOW!
Why can't StrmnNrmn, Wally and Shifty all work together with Daedalus, that would make it so much better and more update, I'm sure.

I too suspect that it might be fake. But let's just wait and see. If it isn't released before the end of the weekend, I give up my hopes.

Where in PSP-Hacks did you get it? All I see is the same Spiff Up update released earlier today by Wally...Obviously enough, you must have confused it.

PSP is no where near as good as the DS.. The DS has nice games an all, dont go there man!

AS for shifty, I dunno if its genuine or what...

Yeah...when are people gonna learn DS is just as good as PSP is...I should know, I got both of them.

Glad to see that people are working on dadaeleus <-( bet i butchered that word) This is the emu that i really am waiting for.

I notice that with the spiff up, a lot has been fixed in zelda at least. Nice work wally.

i think DS and PSP are completely different consoles aimed at completely different crowds. I myself don't even touch my DS anymore, but nonetheless it is innovative console and I could imagine that there could be some interesting homebrew with the touch-screen.

I ensure you that his emulator is real and will play most games at full speed, or at least a very high speed. I have not yet obtained the emulator, but Shifty showed me in person mario 64 running at full speed. He also confirmed Doom 64 and Smash Bros to work. Once released, I will open a compatibility thread so to help Shifty with his next version.

be aware that it will still be quite a wait for most of you people waiting, for me and Shifty live in centeral Canada.

The emulator is for 1.0 or 2.XX, sorry, not for 1.5.

i dont know where to go to learn... i couldnt find the program to use online either. And i havnt found any tutorials...

Hey I suggest you downgrade and then upgrade back again to 2.71 SE-C (except TA platforms) it can play 1.00, 1.50, 2.71 eboots....
