There was an OpenMugen project going on at Source Forge, but the latest news is from 2004...
I thought there was an OpenMugen port being made for PSP, but I don't know anymore. Must have been wishful thinking I had seen here, but I do recall seeing it mentioned on here before.
It's ironic that it's called OpenMugen yet there is no open source.
Holy crap, I always thought Infinity Cat was an alternative to the MUGEN engine. Thanks for the videos, I can't wait for the full version.

Open Mugen is dead... sort of. ShugenDo is the new name of the project. Its still being worked on by the same guy but IT IS NO LONGER OPEN SOURCE (or at least it seems to be that way). The good news is that he plans on porting his program to both the PS3 Linux (once the RSX is figured out) and PSP (If he can get one).
I'm pretty sure you can put any characters you want in there, unfortunately, you have to be smart enough to figure it out... so I can see why many of you would have a problem with this... This was part of an early beta- probably the last open source release of Open Mugen. You wont find anything better. You can donate to sakirsoft If you're interested in a PSP port.Quote:
