Which home console is best for emulators? I got a few running on dreamcast. But between DC, PS2, and Xbox - which has the best/most emulators to choose from?
I ask because I'm sick of hooking up my PSP to TV adaptor. And I was knida looking for a better selection of Emu's than Dreamcast has to offer. :)
Xbox hands down!!!
I have every system up to and including the PS1 emulated flawlessly
if you have Linux set up on your xbox and a wireless router you can even leave all your roms on the xbox and stream them to the psp :D
Dreamcast is the best.
Most of the Xbox emulators are illegal (pcsxbox)

xbox only due to the fact that its so easy to port to. The dreamcast also has a pretty amazing and still growing selection.

Last I checked, I think DCEMU's Xbox page has tutorials on how to soft-mod your Xbox. ^_^
Personally, I'm quite happy with my modded box. The emulators work great, the games play well, and it's a nice controller to boot.

Don't buy a chip. There are so many things you can do to fùck up your xbox with it. Find a softmod tutorial at www.xbox-scene.com.
as someone thats used both methods to hack at least 5 of these consoles, I would agree that softmod is actually a SAFER meathod. You can still **** it up of course, so make sure you read up and understand what your doing and how it works.Quote:

True, and as stated before, there are solderless options to go with as well. The best ones being the Xecuter3 CE and Xenium S.P. Ice. Basically, you just make sure everything lines up, screw it down, and re-assemble the xbox.Quote:
