I just downgraded my PSP from 2.80 to 1.50 (thnx 0okm) and now I want to update it do dark_alex's 2.71 SE-C
Can someone write me instructions of how to do it or where to get an "Easy installer" ?

1. 3.02 OE is way better than 2.71 SE-C, so just use OE.

I have a 32MB memory card...and that's all, will it be enough? :(
Yeh that should be enough if you do it one step at a time.

hi all can i upgrade my factory 2.6 straight to 3.02oe from the sony site and install 1.5 to play homebrew???
3.02OE from the Sony site? Are you kidding? This is CUSTOM firmware, not official Sony bullshit firmware. Downgrade your PSP to 1.5 and then up to 3.02OE.Quote:

You have askd the same question about 10 times and we have told you plenty of different things to do.
Its because you are probaly not doing it right
i must just be thick then, this is wat im doing.
1. downloaded the flashupdate from dark alex
2. formatted mem stik
3. copied the psp folder to mem card overwriting the folder in there.
4. placed the 2.71 flash firmware in the update folder(so in the update folder i now have all the files that were in the original download+the 2.71 eboot)
5. go to menu in psp- game- mem card - update prog clik x
6. goes to load screen then comes back and says the game could not be started!!
what is it that i am doing wrong please??????
You have to update from firmware 1.50. You should downgrade to 1.50 then update to 3.02 oeQuote:

Create a folder called Update in the game folder like so
X IS THE DRIVE LETTER

bleh, I used 3.02 OA, didn't like it! :P downgraded back to 150, does XFlash work with 1.50?
@ahsanx : If you want the 3.02 OA firmware, go to the beginning of this topic, you will find your answer
3.02OE is the best way to go.Much better than 1.5
