Hi all, id like to launch our PC Gaming Site but it needs a new logo and another graphic file needs editing.
The Logo needs to say PC Gaming with maybe a pic of PC or laptop
then the other file needs a pic of say the same.
Our Wii site has an example of what we do

ill put credits at the bottom of the site as a thanks too.
this is the first of many sites to be redesigned using the new dcemu sites design
where the PSP is above is the bit that needs changing on the top graphic. dont ask me how to do it though and how they got it to mirror is beyond me
Are you thinking of staying with red, or can it be changed?
Ill give it a try later,
and the PSP logo if you look close is quite bad,
the wrist strap bit still has white in it, and the buttons arent transparent.... and the reflection of the psp goes white before the red does
EDIT: Also on the PSP news section the header has the button completelty cut out, it looks quite bad....
and i have been waiting for a PC section :)
Red is the colour of the site
other sites in the network will use different colours
i got near on 10 sites to redo yet :P

Wii news has the exact same layout as psp news?
looks pretty bad, only changes are the logos...
Edit - Here's my final design for the small section with a separate image on how it would appear with text.
I'm on it :).
I'll start doing the banner on Monday after my exams.

Looks awesome with the rest of the site! The only problem I see is on:
I think it would be better if the "and" was replaced with "&" so that it would be easier to see, unless you would prefer for me to shrink the monitor image.Quote:

i love the 4th one down on the small and the 3rd one down on the large pics, just need the name PC Gaming in a font like that on the PSP/Wii sites and that would be fantastic :)

uhh which one... you said 8th but i think that's the one with the white background.. i'm assuming you meant the one with the transparent background... just uhh... please specify, sorry i just am not positive which one you meant :P
uhh.. do you want it to say anything? i assumed you were gonna do the text with html... is this correct with these smaller pictures? or should i write " PC Gaming is a News and downloads site for all PC Games and Homebrew, We have all the latest homebrew, commercial games for the PC and all the downloads on this site. and on the top header....what do you want it to say?

" Your Daily PC Gaming News Source " (without the quotations of course) (smaller font)
or just " PC Gaming" ... thanks for your patience with me :P

the text is done with html on the small graphic :)

i think one of those should be right.... but uhh it's up to you :P
i think i got the font right... if not at least i got the size right :P
i had to move the smaller font down a little (compared to the wii header) because of the "g" hitting it.
uhh.. if everything is in order let me know and when i get home from work i'll pm you the .psd for both images.... that way if you encounter this problem agian you can easily put the psd up to make it easier for someone to assist you :D
