Sora Adventure 0.2 Private beta

Heres a beta of what i have. I'm currently awaiting a beta from mexicansnake, I should have that very soon. This is still a early beta but it has gotten so much progress so far. Thought i would allow others in private to see and test the beta if they like.

KEY- @-(optimization) +-(feature added) --(feature taken out)

Whats been done-

@-code rewritten for optimum play (largely due to mexicansnake and myself)
+-Start up screen and Menu have been implemented
+-Eboot conversion has been implemented
+-In game cut scenes have been added
@-button configuration has been optimized
+-Enemies have been added
+-first level boss has been added (more advanced a.i curtsy of mexicansnake)
+-side scrolling in game has been improved vastly
--Collision from the 0.1 version has been taken out from the 0.2 version(will be added back in)
+-Animation has been improved (slight problem on player attacking)

There is still so much that needs to be done, once i get a beta back and send it to my various sprite and gfx editors it will be ready for release.

Happy to say that the final result will only have approximately only 1 set of sprites ripped from the actual kh:com game and thats the regular enemies.

yup, :P

with the eboot conversion however it makes for a nice way to run your game without the luaplayer :)

Tryed it, Seems pretty nice at this stage but the text is pretty hard to read :/

yea curtsy of graphics by me :p

Don't worry in the official release that will be taken care of. Also the sora and cut scenes will look alot better!

Plans for story

have blackheart from the marvel series be the main enemie, also put a new character (clouds half bro) abonic.

The whole thing is going to come together nicely!

dont forget who made your scrolling background....and animation...and collision :D

yea you really were a life savor on the sidescrolling especially :)

You sure you don't want this to be in the Lua dev forum? Lua coder's don't generally have access here.

Well thou i did the cut scene graphics, i have to admit that i am not the best. I can appoint you to someone much better say apoklepz or s34mu5, they do gfx work on sora adventure.

Well i wanted to limit the amount of users that are able to actually see the private beta, i guess il move it for a more broader view :)

yea, thanks to you mexicansnake alots been changed :)

Zion your animation and collsion has been changed i belive the only thing that stayed from your last additions is the side scrolling.

After that il shoot it over to apoklepz so that he can do sprite work and also change some things around :)
