Ok, two main questions I got here.
I have already downgraded to 1.5 and I have a TA-082 motherboard PSP. I want to upgrade to some of the custom firmwares he has but I was wondering:
1.) Are there any downsides at all to doing so, besides bricking chances?
2.) Since I have a TA-082 PSP will there be any extra complications for me?

Yeah, I've heard of how awesome it is but I've bricked a PSP before so I want to make sure before I get involved in anything I haven't tried before I learn what I need about it.
Read instructions carefully and you will be fine.

make sure read evverything and do slowly
For first installs, look towards 3.03 oe-c and 3.10 oe-a.
3.03 oe-c has better customisation for people prepared to take the risk.
3.10 oe-a has a better playstation emulator but lacks some customisation at the moment...
And if you get 3.10 oe-a (I'm recommending that you do) then you should also upgrade to 3.10 oe-a' (a.k.a oe-a2) but only after you upgrade to 3.10 oe-a.
If you want to use the best option and the one with less bricking chance get yourself the installer

I had been a 1.5 user for all my PSP time and held onto it for dear PSP life. I still dont regret IN ANY WAY updating to 3.03 E-B

Mew, I didnt upgrade though I wanted to play commercial games. If I did, I'd lose homebrew. 3.03 E-B plays all homebrew AND commercial games. THATs why I compared them.
