M3 or R4

I'm looking to buy a DS flash card, but can't decide between the M3 Simply and the R4 Revolution
Any suggestions on which is better and offers more??

they are basically the same thing. so it wouldnt really matter which one you get.

I'm just not sure, as the R4 is apparently Slot-2, instead of Slot-1, which is confusing me slightly

Nope R4 is Slot-1. Really there is little to barely any differences between the two (I got R4 since the site ran out of M3's). I think that the M3 skin is a little more customizable though :).

Either way there both good!

The R4 and the M3 are the same, but I went with the M3 just because I have bought their products before with no problems.

I have review for both R4 and M3. Both are identical in everyway except for sticker on cartridge and packaging. Its just a matter of what color you prefer.

M3 is gray/black and the R4 is white.

I have a DX Xtreme and an M3 Simply and i would say the M3 is better value out of the two, You can also buy extra sd memory for the m3, Both will play all backups with no problems but for a lot of homebrew you need a slot 2 devise.

Except the few exceptions (I recently bought a R4 that was same grayish colour as an official cart).

I thought they were both the same except for the makers (Even the updates seem the same and both use the same dldi).

Actually, both M3 and R4s will be grey/black carts. The Chinese version of the R4 will be getting the white carts.

If I bought an R4, I could store commercial DS games on my micro sd and play them correct?

I've hacked into PSPs and such, but I was wondering if the R4 supports SNES/Genesis/Other emulators for the DS??

doesn't the R4 have more recent firmware updates than the M3?

I have an R4, I couldnt be happier.

And about the M3 being easier to skin, they are exactly the same, you could take a theme off the M3 and put it on the R4.

I have a M3 and it works perfect.

I hope to be getting an R4 soon, after some more research ;) It is cheaper, and thats a major thing for me.

My R4 came with a white case and a gray case.
