Supposedly, the PSP version of Oblivion was supposed to come out next month. But, considering the complete lack of updates on this highly anticipated game, we were skeptical, to say the least. Looks like the game's been pushed back ... all the way to September. GameStop is reporting the ship date as 9/3, a delay as massive as the game itself. Hopefully, this will go a long way in improving its quality.
so is this like the oblivion for the pc? or a scaled down version?
Hope its not like Fable (3-4 year delay)

Yeah so MGS:Snake Eater had. Dang..I was waiting for this game. So bad to hear that it's been delayed.

Ive been trying to follow this for weeks.. I'm very interested in seeing what sort of game this will be. Not so much as a screenshot has been released so far.
NO! I was really looking forward to this game but now I have to wait. Looks like I have to go play it on my 360.
Didn't the Publisher 2K / Bethesda flat out deny the existance of such a Port comming to the PSP™
I seem to remember reading about a denial of this Game being in production the fist time it got reported on back in Nov/Dec '06?!

Word is that the entire game takes place in dungeons and there is no open world map. Just rumours though I guess.
I have been waiting for this game for a while but seems like i will be waiting longer
well i dont know if that is a real screenshot or not, but it certainly looks like PSP graphics (tiny models with huge pixels). The textures seem to be lower quality and the specular highlights are gone. Over all it looks pretty cool thoughQuote:

OT: Well there is some good news for us oblivion fans.. Even though this title is being pushed back, the first real oblivion expansion (knights of the 9 wasnt an expansion in my opinion) is coming out this months end for PC.
i heard this to, from one of my video game magazines. the magazine had the same screenshot to. they said that making it small like that (just dongeons) would allow it to be small enough to play on the PSP.Quote:
