None.
Christianity and Catholicism is the same thing ( the word Catholic means universal)
it should be either just Christianity or Protestant and Catholic
it's all for pussy
Oh, okay. You can edit it if you want (NOT TOO MUCH).
While you're there, can you change Scientology to Scientologist?
If only you were a girl...Quote:

Jedi, no wait Sith! its more fun
Baptised catholic, but im not at all religious
hmm since christian isnt on the list and none of the choices are really fully christian i'll go with other :D
Christian is split into 2 groups, Protestant and Catholic, or i'm i missing something?
Christianity and catholic were the same thing, until the split. So if your a Christian but not a catholic, your a protestant, thats how I see it.
Having said that, think Orthodox are still Catholic...
edit: actually its alot more complex than that

Yeah, he removed the "Christian" option from the poll.
Can you put it back?
bah catholics arent christians!!! they may have branched off from christians but their beliefs are not christian beliefs!!! they think of themselves as christians and thats how most people see them but they're honestly not. protestant however is pretty close but still has some flaws.
basically heres where i stand: on that plot thing i want to be right after where it says "early christian". over time people have changed crap around until christianity is what is it today. there is one truth and one way to heaven. there isnt room for 69836 different churches each with different beliefs.
what i think i should believe is what the early christians believed because they were the first and probably only TRUE christian church. im not saying protestants cant go to heaven.. they just arent COMPLETELY right. thats what i want to be.
EDIT: dont be offended. not flaming. just voicing my opinion. http://www.carm.org/catholic/saved.htm go here for more :D
I have like my "own little religion"
I usually pray often.
Maybe for help if i am in trouble.
I worship God in my own little way.
the "Christian Apologetics and Research Ministry" are hardly a non-bias group, they are conservative Christians.
Of course we are all Christians (catholic, Protestant etc), unfortunately we let dogma and ego get in the way.
I'm catholic, but i don't not believe in everything the catholic church says. Personally I think, being as good as a person as you can be ( as Jesus taught) is the most important thing. Being in the right religion, or the right sect of the right religion is not as important... if at all
A good, repentant non-christen > a non-repentant, bad christen.
jesus didnt say be nice and thats it. he didnt even say follow the 10 commandments and thats it. i think if your going to do something(ie. be a christian) you shouldnt do it halfway. mind the punctuation and be sure to dot all your I's lol.
repenting is not just saying sorry. its turning from you sin. all of them. well as best you can i mean we are only human. i choose to try and find out everything that is truly sin so i can fully repent.
i choose not to claim any denomination because none of them are completely correct. at least none ive found yet. im looking though.
darksavior, i honestly figured you were atheist by the way you were talking lol. i hope you look into this as much as you can and please ask any questions you may have. i dont know it all but i may have a different perspective on things and id love to help.
im roman catholic.
My religion is homebrew and my god is strmnrmn
dont post junk in this thread.
if you didnt notice, this is offtopic not JUNK.
there is a difference.
religion is fake, so I vote for none
I think it is fair enough to have a prodestent and catholic option, but I don't think I've ever heard a non-catholic Christian ever describe themselves as a prodestent though- it might be an Irish or a Catholic thing...
I don't think the denomination stuff does anyone any favours anyway, it just confuses the hell out of any non-christians and makes christians look divided. I mean fair enough if you feel as though a certain denomination is closer to what feels right to you then great, but I think by bickering over details, translations etc. Suggesting this is right or this is wrong definitively when it comes to interpretation sort of misses the bigger picture to me.
I'd come under the prodestent heading on this list. I don't pretent to know everything on the subject, but I do make a concious effort to live my life by it.
You know that if you spend your life stating your opinion as fact, you're not going to make many friends.
I'm a Christian but don't call it a religion. I picked protestant since that's the closest thing. (But it doesn't really matter what religion you're in or if you're not in any at all, you can still be a Christian. But worshiping other gods is wrong so you don't find us inside religions usually.)
I am a athiest (spelling?)
Btw satanism and wicca are banned on my country, they are highly illegal.
i hate people who are satanist.
they are scary. and why would someone want to believe in satan anyway.
I agree. Saying sorry is not the same as being sorry.
My faith goes further than that, but I think It better to find common ground with as many people/ religions as we can (which is not that hard) I don't believe that god will only save Christians, because so many people are brought up in different cultures, they no very little about Christianity and so many "Christians" do bad things in the name of Christianity, its gives it a bad name. I like to think God is fair, and looks passed human politics that churches/ religions are.
I always thought that the name protestant covered many different split off groups from Catholicism, i,e all non- catholic's are protestants (ignoring eastern orthodox )

this is what i think.
there is only one god.
but people have different views about that one god because they were raised to believe something else.
Heres one for you: "the only thing more injurious to truth, than lies, is conviction"
bull, x.
Agnosticism for me. I used to "be" a catholic last year.
Satanists don't actually worship Satan. Satan is "just a symbol".
scary isnt the word, id say misguided. Im not for forcing anything on to anyone, let alone religion, but the idea of satan revolves around there being an alternative to the devil, ie God. Soo... if your a satanist you must belive in God to a certian extent!(no offence to satanists)
I am a protestant by description round here but, i would personally call myself christian
also id like to say that all the points posted have been very informative and ive really enjoyed reading them, especially darksaviours christianity tree!
spiritual peace
"im am THE way THE truth and THE light. NO ONE gets to the father except through me " -Jesus lol
christians have a bad name because most people you see on tv claiming christianity are full of crap.. or satan or something....
it is OUR responsibility to witness to the lost and spread the gospel across the world. millions of people havent heard the name jesus and its OUR fault as christians. harsh i know.
amen
