V3 has less cheats and is more unstable, if I were you I'd stick with V1 (don't ask why V1 is worse than V3 xD cuz I didn't program it :P)

One thing you must know is... GPSP DOES NOT SUPPORT MASTERCODE! ONLY PRO ACTION REPLAY AND GAMESHARK!
What is the difference between them?
length in GameShark/ProActionReplay = 8 characters, 2 codes
length in MASTER CODE = 12 characters, 1 code
but some codes work without the master code so just try codes out if they dont work hard luck

Can't seem to get it workin'...im beginning to think its the fault of the emulator.
I've tried with both Master code and without.
did you save the file in the ROM folder and are you using the ORIGINAL GPSP (not kai's edition?)

Well.. for what I see, three things might be happening:
1. GPSP can't use the cheats
2. USA/EU version incompatibility
3. Cheat codes simply don't work =D

I went to IGN. We've tried everything to get these cheats workin' im thinking its GPSP. From rixostar to madcat to gold line no one seems to be able to get these things to work.
Wheres GPSP 1.0?
the thing is, GPSP recognizes the codes, the names, everything, problem is, they aren't used :S (even after enabling them on the menu)
Say Shadowblind, try reseting the game you are playing, WITH THE CHEATS ON, and see if it works :)

if you mean you can't get the codes to work with the rom, i have gotten the same problem. my game worked fine it's just probably the emulator's fault. i made the file completely myself and all of the codes had no effect on the game at all. and i tried v_1 and v_3 for them and with Master code on and off. but for any codes that would work for a game, this program would help alot so you wont have to type in all the code yourself.
