I tried to put a prx into the flash zero and try to make it work there instead of putting it in seplugins. It made it a partial brick but i fixed it.
Was this ment to be in ps3 forums?

noobiest thing i ever did with my psp was try to set up devhook on 3.10oe_A'. It ended up a partial brick. I did it 3 times, each time ending in brickage. I recovered every time :). Im back on 3.10oe_A'
Nothing much since I studied everything about the PSP before I even bought it ;).
didnt know about homebrew so i upgraded to 2.71. i found out about it and downgraded a week after the downgrader was released.

i have to say the noobest thing ive done is pull the battery out when i was downgrading from 2.80, because i was going on a trip and obviously couldnt downgrade in the car. i thought that if i left it it might burn an image in the screen... :D
the first noobiest thing i did when i got the my psp was upgrade my 2.01 to 2.71 then 2.80 and finally waited patiently for downgrader now i'm at the slightly disappointed 3.10 A'

i studied everyhting about homebrew and downgrading and everything before i bought my psp but i went kinda crazy wen i got a custom firmware. but luckily i have a new psp. and i mite ""fix"" my old psp *shhhh* its a secret. lol
when i was in recovery mode i toggled flash0 and the disk space was full, so i deleted everything and put my back up flash0 stuff that i backed up to my computer. then i disabled usb flash0 and tried going to the xmb but nothing came up, so i turned off my psp. turned it back on and no recovery menu, no backlight, no memory stick light flashing. then umd wouldnt spin when i started the psp with a umd in. i landed with the biggest brick ever.

mine was that i tried to do a mod with the umd door cover and it broke..so no im stuck with some first aid tape holding it on
I update to 2.81 b/c I couldn't wait for a new dh or se/oe fw and I just HAD to play Metal Gear PO

Back in the older days where back ups had to be loaded onto an emulated firmware, i tried running an update off of it, it almost bricked my psp, but luckily i had the actual disc when the update froze, so then i popped the disc in and finished the update. Actually, i think this was before it was emulated, idk. but i downgraded back to 1.5
Man, i remember the swaploit. That thing f'ed me up a bit. It didn't work with my memory stick too well. That was when 1 gigs were like for the rich peoples at over like $150. I sort of remember Hello World but i didn't quite understand it at the time with 1.00. My psp has taught me quite a lot...
Sold my original DreamCast in 2001 and had to buy another one 2 years later. I am so ashamed.

the most stupid thing i have ever done with my psp (well my old one) was i have a 1.5 and i flashed a font, but instead of using the program to change the .ttf into a psp font file (.pgf?), i just renamed the font file and then flashed it. it resulted in a half-brick, non-recoverable :(
Back in the day of 2005 i put the umd upside down in the umd drive, when i first got my psp it was 2.00 then downgraded in january 2006.
As for PSP, I lost my thumb stick... It fell off.
up until like two months ago... everything. I upgraded aaaaall the waay tooo shfifty five. No wait, I mean 3.00 and now I got my bitchin 3.03 oe-c
Oh wait the noobiest thing was I tried totake the disk out of my first psp umd. by cracking it. Oh and I've lost four thumbsticks

Oh right. I updated to 3.00 back before the downgrader. Felt like a moron waiting for the DG to come along all that time. Can't even remember WHY I did it...A sudden lurch of spontanious stupidity...
Buuuut then I downgraded it and now have Dark Alex 3.10a running about like a headless chicken on there...
I bricked it, then un-bricked it:)
1.i was putting in a new lcd screen and i (1)broke the clip that holds in the cable to the backlight
(2)electricuted myself
2.i super glued my analoge stick on because it kept falling off
3.when i first got my psp(christmas 05) i updated to 2.6 not knowing anything about homebrew. then i updated my 3 other friends psp's...a couple days later we found out about homebrew...
the stopidust thing i have done is buy a psp and a usb cable
first without having a computer
second with no memory card
third withouth knowing how to put music on my psp
fourth i had firmware 1.0

Same as me. Well, I knew about homebrew, but I didn't, at that point, have a big memory stick, or even a USB cable. The limitied reading-up I had done led me to believe that I would be able to downgrade to run homebrew, so I did a network update to 2.6.Quote:
