Hi, got a PSP the other day and first thing i did was upgrade to 3.40. then i was told about homebrew. gutted. anyone know if there will be a downgrader???

whats the big deal anyway??? whats the diffrence in having homebrew or not. im not sure what it even is lol

homebrew is wicked, you can play nintendo 64, snes, genesis, etc games on your psp.

you can play your ps1 games on it too using custom firmware :)

i hope a downgrader comes out soon, i feel sorry for you :(

The Big Deal is hombrew is the bomb I mean you can play Gameboy Advance, PS1,
Nintendo, Gameboy, Super Nintendo, And there is much more cool stuff. That really sucks that you updated because the PSP can be enhanced much much more

ah well i didnt have any of those games as i got rid of all my games consoles years ago. so not missing out on much there.

i did hear you can get a keyboard attached to the PSP with homebrew which is the made reason i wanted it

yes you can ;) you could always sell your psp or take it back and get another :)

The keyboard thing is not true. There's an infrared keyboard system under development but it's not really usable for anything yet.

Sorry you updated. I made the same mistake myself when I got my PSP (Christmas '05).

who makes the downgraders? an how long do they normally take?

do you need homebrew to use that MSN Messenger program for the PSP?

Dark alex makes the downgraders. Really sorry upgraded man, psp without homebrew isn't half as good as it is with hombrew, and it's probably gonna take a long time for a 3.40 downgrader as a 3.30 one hasn't even come out yet. Again, i'm really sorry, but do check back here and other sites for news on downgraders.

I'm stuck with retarded 3.30 the only choice you have is flash games for sure.

I'd say your best bet is to go for the new mod chip, Devolution.

You could always take your PSP back saying its not right. :)
