oh yea, and how do i flash this new xmb and stuff? x-flash?
fine.. im gonan flash these XMBs on my 3.03 OE-B if i brick its whoever didnt replys fault... lol
just do it, just make sure none of them are designed for 3.10, 3.30, or 3.40
and yes you are currently at the most easily customizable fw
Yes indeedy.
3.03 is the best firmware for customizing the XMB.
To flash one, you should toggle USB flash0 from the recovery menu.
Oh OE-b doesnt?
I just assumed it was 3.03OE-c with bugs.
My bad.
alright, thanks.. how do i go from B to C tho? :(.. i guess i can reserach, but it'd be easier if someone did it for me, lol
You have to install 3.03 OE-C the long way. That means the whole DXAR creation and flashing. You can download it here.
ok done.. i got OE-C installed and everything.. im in USB mode for flash0 and flash1.. where do i put topmenu files and all that stuff.. will my psp die if i put something in the wrong spot?
right this is off the top of my head but topmenu plugins go in.
vsh --> resource ?
anyway, find a folder called resource and it has a topmenu plugin already in there, overright it.

MAKE A BACKUP OF ALL YOU'RE FLASH0
If you run out of room, it will delete the one your trying to overright and it won't put the new one in there, so always backup.
also, you might want to remove soke waste room in you're flash0 I think there is a page on pspxmb.com on which ones can be deleted.
if not, there are some programs than can clean the crap out for you.
cool thx... my psp looks alot cooler now.. :D
