PSP: Daedalus status update (29.05.07)

A small update from StrmnNrmn's blog.

It's been a couple of weeks since the last update. As people tend to get a bit nervous when I don't update regularly, I just wanted to let everyone know that I'm ok and still thinking about getting R12 ready :)

I'm still in the middle of looking at fixing the various dynarec bugs which are keeping Super Smash Bros from working with Dynarec enabled. I've not made as much progress as I would have liked since the last post, as I've been very busy with work and various other commitments. Hopefully I should get a bit more time to work on R12 from the end of this week. I'll post an update as soon as I have more news to report on.

This is good to know, I'll be waiting for the next release of this Nintendo 64 emulator when StrmnNrmn is done.

lets hope zelda mm works in R12

i cant wait! if he gets oot to work at the speed mario works or mm to work at all or anything i will flip, i love duadalus, its the best psp homebrew there is! thanks man i love your emulator

mm already works, you can play up to when you get the magic from the great fairy before it crashes

also zelda starts with the cc glitch so you cant use your sword.

Sorry I've been a little bit out of the loop since I got my PSP back just a couple weeks ago after a 7 month "modding job." Does Daedalus use the ME for sound yet?

Fortunately this emulator is coming along very nicely and it seems that there are many ways that it can be improved, improved Dynarec and improved sound through the ME, and I'm sure strmnnrmn is doing his best to optimize this as quickly as possible.

i think by the endof this year it willbeat fullspeed with all games

if the psp king gives us a little light

would definately be a nice christmas present to have everything full speed
and add-ons: gameshark or any other cheat device
um.. wut else would be a nice add on? lol

How about some multiplayer features (infrastructure/ad-hoc) so that you can play with others? It's probably on the low priority list for now until speed and compatibility is acceptable.

Yeah Goldeneye on infrastructure or Diddy Kong Racing, I really hope DKR's issues get worked out soon it does have good speed so far.

theres now R11 and super mario 64 runs at 90% speed :D

Time Trial mode in Mario Kart is completely, 100% full speed with sound off. But the game slows down quite a bit if you turn the sound on or play Grand Prix mode.

The only games I really want working are Goldeneye, Zelda, and smash bros
