Quake 2 PSP new release

McZonk releases a new version of Quake 2 PSP as he will not have as much free time, be warned it is a buggy build, however.. Have fun :D

Exams

I will be less or even not be available in the next days. My first exam is soon and I really should begin to learn. Well I already should have started, but it is the same every semester :)
I also want to start coding again after I passed my tests. I was coding for around two weeks now and got a pretty decent version. I am a little bit unhappy with the current version, because it is still very buggy, but I do not want to be away for a few weeks without releasing it. You can spam tons of bug reports, I only will answer when I have enough time. Thanks for all support and all nice comments I got over the time.

Hey - I very much enjoyed beta testing this for McZonk - he is a pretty cool dude - aside from the bugs it may have, it is at least usable - this is an exciting project - cant wait to see what the future brings!

So, what new features does this build have? Sound, single player? I'd like to know before i download.

Well, im crap at Quake II but im gonna have a go at it, see how well it runs and me and a friend (Amphetamine from Malloc.us) are gonna make some maps, so hope fully when you get back to it from your exam's we will have some for you to have a look at.

well listen everyone - there is still no sound but it is going to be implemented in future versions - McZonk confirmed this to me today - frame rates aren't too bad so get those q2 servers going and lets q2 test the hell out of this. I don't have the greatest connection otherwise I'd give my server ip out - but i need to connect to a good connection server to make it useful. Have Fun All!

Oh and by the way no one will be good at this yet so just have fun!

finnally work is starting on a good game for the psp i cant wait to play on line but does any one play? cuz on q1 no one does.

Nice, I'm loving all the FPS releases lately. Great work getting this to run man. Very impressive.

Has anyone played it over a longer time in Singleplayer mode?
Is it playable or are there many bugs or random crashes?

There is not single player at the moment. And my focus will stay on a stable multiplayer before I will work on single player again. Get some friends and play online :P
