Would you still even touch your psp??
Yes, obviously. I used it mainly for music.
yea i realized that i hadnt played a game on it in a month and yet i still carried it with me all the time just for media lol.
Not now. When silent hill comes out, and God of war comes out, **** would I own a PSP no questions asked.
But right not, it's basically portable PS1 with some neat games on it otherwise. Nothing worth buying it for though. Damn is it nice to have such a piracy tank, though.
it doesnt really matter the fact is
homebrew does exist
but i wouldnt touch mine if it didnt have homebrew ;)
I bought mine entirely for homebrew :)
Cloudy
For me PSP doesn´t worth for this exclusive games... I like 2 or 3 only... maybe Castlevania and FF:CC change it to 5 .
Because homebrew i use it like a Palm ( I doesn´t use my Nokia 6600 to it !) and a Portable emulator ... my unique videogame, an old Game Gear died and my phone is crappy to emulate master system... since DS emulation scene is poor in comparation to PSP i aquired one !
With no homebrew, i never will buy one.
I'd probably use it, just hardly as much
There are good and even great PSP games, just they're hard to find
I KNOW FOR A FACT
I'm going to be playing it a lot when Silent Hill Origins comes out...Then Crisis Core...Then Dissidia...Possibly God of War too...XD
uh i dont use homebrew at all...well about 2% of the time ill play mario 64 or whatever with my music via irshell
Yeah I would I still like the regular PSP games and music and videos but I would miss trying out homebrew games.
I would still have a PSP if there was not homebrew for it. There's some decent commercial games for it that I enjoy playing. I also like playing back audio tracks and browsing the Internet now and then.
I would use the web browser when I go to places, other than that, NO GOOD!
For a minute i thought you ment Crystal Chronicles -.-
Do popstation games count as part of homebrew not being made(i would think so as Sony didn't release them)
either way, i don't play my PSP half as much as i used to (playing too much FF:III and EBA on my DS), but would play it more when some more good games get released (MHF2, Castlevania, etc...)
there are at most 5 great original psp games. so its not for those ppl have bought their psp :P
i mean u can play NES, SNES, GBA, PS1, CPS1, CPS2, Sega Mastersystem, Megadrive/Genesis, Game boy/color, SCUMMVM, AMIGA!!!, Neo Geo.... all these platforms are nearly perfect for the psp. what more can a gamer ask for?
I bought a DS some week ago and thats becuz i got so bored there were no new titles for the psp only crappy games.
so of course it is the homebrew (emulators) that is the psps strongest side!
Amen to that
I love it because I have almost every game I've ever played, in just one beautiful handheld
now that I think of it, there hasn't been a single day that I didn't played something on it since I downgraded and instaled CFW, creepy!! LOL (well, some vacations but that doesn't count)
homebrew is the only reason i bought a psp in the first place..
I would use it a little bit, but that would be about 1/10 the amount that i use it now. i would just probably use it to get on the internet from some random connection that doesnt have any security settings.
I wouldn't have traded in my ds and all gba games for this psp if there wasn't homebrew. I play this psp more than i ever played my ds, it's like a dream come true.
I would still use it for the gta games, but I probably wouldn't have one in the first place if it wasnt for homebrew.
I didnt no about homebrew when I bought my psp but it was a nice suprise because it made me get it out from the dusty cupboard again!
i only bought my psp to play homebrew and i never play UMD games. so yeah without homebrew the psp is a pile of crap
seems like homebrew is pretty important to you guys. to be honest i haven played a umd in a month or more but my psp is used every day for something or another.
Other than using the web browser it would just collect dust on my shelf
